Demi Lovato is hoping for a stress-free day when they marry fiancé Jordan "Jutes" Lutes and is taking steps to ensure the big day runs as smoothly as possible.
The "Confident" singer, who uses she/they pronouns, stopped by The Tonight Show on Wednesday (September 19) where she not only surprised her "BFF" Jimmy Fallon with a cake to celebrate his 50th birthday, but shared new details about her upcoming wedding to Jutes next year, per Page Six.
While they didn't share too many details, Lovato explained that they have "put a lot of thought into what we're going to have on our wedding day" and have been planning for the big day since getting engaged in December 2023.
"We have been planning the wedding for quite some time now," they said. "We got engaged in December, and met with a wedding planner, like a month later... [I] wanted to be ahead of it. I don't want to be stressed."
However, there is definitely one thing Lovato won't be doing on their wedding day and that is performing. Though some musicians may choose to incorporate a performance for their new spouse during their own weddings, the musician said they will not be doing that in order to make the day as stress-free as possible, adding, "I want this to feel not anything like work."
Elsewhere in the interview, Lovato confirmed that they are working on new music and "kind of figuring out my sound right now," but there are no plans for when the new project will come out, just whenever Lovato feels "ready."
