Teen Tries To Rob A Pawn Store With A Sword He Just Purchased

A 19-year-old from Minnesota is facing charges of aggravated robbery after he tried to knock off a pawn shop. Police said that Hunter Gransee-Bowman walked into a Pawn America shop in the city of Fridley and purchased a sword.

After paying for the weapon, he unsheathed it and demanded money from the cashier.

The cashier refused, telling him, "I don't think so," and calling 911.

Gransee-Bowman left the store before the police arrived. Authorities tracked him down a short while later and took him into custody. He told the officers he thought it was funny. He may not be laughing for long as he faces up to ten years behind bars if convicted.
